DAY 1: WINDHOEK
The afternoon in Windhoek is free to explore the capital city of Namibia. This tour is part of our longer Great
Trek Adventure so you will not meet your Kiboko guide until day 2 in Sesriem. Overnight Arebbusch Lodge
(or similar accommodation). (Accommodated – dinner own account)
DAY 2/ 3: SESRIEM/ SOSSUSVLEI
Clients are met at the reception at 10h00 where they are transferred to our camp located on the edge of the
Namib Desert. Here you will meet your Kiboko guide and rest of the group. The following morning is an early
departure for Sossusvlei, stopping in the dune belt to witness the changing colours of the world’s highest
sand dunes. We undertake a 5km walk to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. In the afternoon we enjoy a short hike
through the Sesriem Canyon. (Serviced Camping – B & D)
DAY 4: SWAKOPMUND
Heading north we reach the coast at Walvis Bay and enjoy lunch while viewing the many flamingos feeding.
We arrive in Swakopmund and spend the afternoon and following day exploring this German colonial town
or booking one of the numerous optional excursions (own expense). Activities available include dolphin
cruises, scenic flights over the vast Namib and many more. Accommodation Dunedin Star Guesthouse.

DAY 5: SPITZKOPPE
Leaving Swakopmund after lunch we set up camp among the boulders of the Spitzkoppe Mountains. The
afternoon is free to explore the stunning surrounding area on foot. The spectacular setting of our remote
bushcamp is sure to leave a lasting impression. (Serviced Camping – B & D)
DAY 6: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
This Park is one of the most important reserves and game sanctuaries in Africa with thousands of wild
animals such as blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, kudu, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, lion and elephant making
this area their home. We set up camp just outside the Park and enjoy a late afternoon game drive on the
afternoon in the Kiboko Overland vehicle. (Serviced Camping – B & D)
DAY 7: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After packing up camp and having breakfast we enter the Park and game drive through the Park to the
Eastern sector. We stop at Etosha Pan and arrive at our campsite after lunch. We explore the Eastern area
on an afternoon game drive in the Kiboko truck. Overnight Namutoni Restcamp inside the Park.

DAY 8: KAVANGO RIVER – RUNDU
A morning game drive takes us out of the Park and we travel to Rundu on the banks of the Kavango River.

DAY 9/ 10: OKAVANGO DELTA
Continuing into the Caprivi we cross into Botswana and travel to our campsite on the edge of the Okavango
Delta. The following day we do mokoro & boat excursions in the back channels of the Nxamasire area of the
delta. Game walks are also done on the smaller islands in the area subject to the water levels of the delta.

DAY 11/ 12: CHOBE RIVER
Travel through the Caprivi Strip in Namibia and cross back into Botswana via the Chobe National Park, we
overnight on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, magnificent sunsets
and abundance of wildlife and birdlife. Day 12 we relax on a morning game drive & a sunset game-viewing
cruise on the Chobe River. (Serviced Camping – B & D)
DAY 13: VICTORIA FALLS
After breakfast we travel across the Zimbabwean border to Victoria Falls, without doubt one of the greatest
and most spectacular sights in Africa. The afternoon and following morning is spent at leisure to browse the
local markets, to experience the many optional activities on offer in the adrenalin capital of Africa including
white water rafting, bungi jumping, microlighting/ airplane or helicopter flights over the Falls and to visit the
Falls (own expense). Overnight Sprayview Hotel (or similar). (Accommodated – B)
DAY 14: VICTORIA FALLS
Tour ends after breakfast. (B)
